PayTrack ("the App") is developed by Fixare Studio ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information. We believe in transparency and your right to privacy.
Summary
PayTrack stores all data locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to any of your financial data, client information, or personal details. There are no cloud servers, no accounts, and no data sharing with third parties.
Data Storage
Local Database
All client records, payment logs, expenses, and user preferences are stored in an encrypted SQLite database on your device. This database remains entirely on your phone and is never uploaded to any external server.
DataStore Preferences
User preferences (currency settings, notification preferences, profile information) are stored locally using Android DataStore, which is part of your device's secure internal storage.
Data Collection
PayTrack does not collect:
- Personal identification information
- Financial data or transaction records
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Location data
- Usage analytics or crash reports
Network Usage
PayTrack uses the internet connection solely for one purpose: fetching daily exchange rates from a public API (open.er-api.com) to provide multi-currency conversion. This request sends no personal data — only a request for current exchange rate values. No information about your clients, payments, or financial data is transmitted.
Notifications
PayTrack may send local notifications to remind you about due or overdue payments. These notifications are generated entirely on your device. You can disable notifications at any time in the App's Settings screen.
Data Export
When you export your data as CSV files, the files are saved locally to your device's Downloads folder. You control where these files go and who has access to them. PayTrack does not upload or share exported data.
Third-Party Services
PayTrack does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only external network call is to a public exchange rate API.
Children's Privacy
PayTrack is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
